The story of his teeth
Neil lost two as a youngster. For the next several years, his remaining teeth spread out and became an orthodontist’s worst nightmare.
How he got his smile
Neil has been self-conscious about his teeth for much of his adult life. When his daughter finished college, he decided it was time to invest in a change. Dr. John spent two years working with Neil’s dentist to properly align his teeth. Neil is now the proud owner of what he calls his “Hollywood smile.”
Favorite food
“I have a very good appetite,” says Neil. “So unfortunately, I haven’t found any food yet that I don’t like.”

“Silver falls is a beautiful place. When you do the seven-mile trek, you see some of the most fantastic waterfalls. I just love it up there.”
Note from Dr. John
Neils treatment is was a team approach. Neils bite and tooth positions caused extensive wear of the teeth. The braces aligned the teeth with and fit the uppers to the lowers so that his dentist could do more ideal crowns which finalized his nice smile and good bite. The orthodontics allowed the dentist to achieve a result that would not have been possible with just restorative dentistry alone.
